Biography
Edward K. Le is the managing partner of Le & Kittleson in Renton, Washington, where he has dedicated nearly three decades to helping clients rebuild their lives after devastating injuries. He specializes in representing individuals and families affected by catastrophic harm — including traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, paralysis, amputations, and wrongful death.
Known for his meticulous preparation and deep commitment to justice, Mr. Le has achieved verdicts and settlements exceeding $400 million, with more than 70 cases resulting in million and multi‑million‑dollar recoveries. To him, every case represents far more than a number — it is an opportunity to restore dignity, security, and a sense of peace to those whose lives have been abruptly altered.
Throughout his career, Mr. Le has built a reputation as a formidable trial lawyer who is unafraid to take complex, high‑stakes cases to verdict. He has successfully tried cases in both state and federal courts, often against well‑funded corporate defendants, national insurance carriers, and Fortune 500 companies. His courtroom victories — including landmark results in brain injury and spinal trauma litigation — have not only secured justice for his clients but have helped establish stronger legal protections and industry standards.
Mr. Le is among only ten attorneys in Washington who are Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, an honor recognizing extensive courtroom experience and proven trial excellence. For over a decade, he has been named among Washington’s Top 100 Attorneys by Super Lawyers, Seattle Met, and Washington Law & Politics, and holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale‑Hubbell, reflecting the highest standards of ethics and professional ability.
Beyond his work on behalf of clients, Mr. Le contributes extensively to the legal community. He has authored over 50 scholarly articles and has chaired or lectured in more than 75 continuing legal education programs on topics including trial advocacy, ethics, and expert testimony. His cases and writings have been featured in Trial Magazine, National Law Journal, and the Seattle Times.
Compassion, public service, and philanthropic work are central to his life’s work. Mr. Le donates more than 100 hours each year in pro bono legal service and has been repeatedly commended on the Washington State Bar’s Pro Bono Publico Honor Roll. Through the Edward K. Le Charitable Foundation, he also supports health, education, and poverty relief initiatives globally, with a focus on underserved and developing communities.
Above all, Mr. Le views his role as a privilege — to stand beside people during their most vulnerable moments and fight for the justice they deserve. His clients describe him not only as a skilled trial lawyer, but as an unwavering ally who listens, cares, and delivers results.
